1. What This Policy Covers
This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are used on sudarshansanchari.tours and its booking pages. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser; local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device only.
2. The Short Version
We do not set any cookies ourselves. We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies — no Google Analytics, no Meta/Facebook pixel, no retargeting. Only strictly necessary third-party cookies may be set, and only in two situations: spam protection on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) and online payment (Razorpay, and PayPal for guests paying in US dollars). One local-storage entry remembers that you closed a promotional popup.
3. Cookies That May Be Set
These are the only cookies that can be stored while using our website — all are strictly necessary to provide a service you request, or are set only at the moment you take a specific action. Cloudflare Turnstile — protects our enquiry and booking forms from spam bots. When the human-verification challenge runs, Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie (such as cf_clearance) on our domain. It contains no personal information about your browsing and expires automatically. Turnstile also processes your IP address and browser signals to verify you are human; see Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Razorpay — only when you choose to pay online. The Razorpay Checkout script (loaded from checkout.razorpay.com) may set cookies on Razorpay's own domain so the payment can be processed and secured, governed by Razorpay's privacy policy. We never see or store your card or UPI credentials. PayPal — the PayPal button script (loaded from paypal.com) runs on our Tour of Kutch booking page and may set cookies and use device signals on PayPal's own domain to display the button, secure the payment and prevent fraud, governed by PayPal's privacy statement. We never see or store your PayPal login or card details. Typography is self-hosted, so no third-party font requests are made.
4. Local Storage (Not a Cookie)
We use one browser local-storage entry named kutchPopupSeen to remember that you have already seen a promotional popup for our Tour of Kutch expedition, so that we do not show it repeatedly. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
5. What We Do NOT Use
No analytics or statistics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics); no advertising, retargeting, or marketing cookies; no social-media tracking pixels; no cross-site tracking of any kind. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, no cookie consent banner is required. If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first — and you will always be able to decline.
6. How to Control or Delete Cookies
You can view, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time — Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies · Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data · Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data · Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions. Please note: if you block third-party cookies completely, the spam-verification widget on our forms may not load and online payments through Razorpay or PayPal may be affected. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision. If we ever start using cookies that require consent, we will update this page and request your consent before setting them.
