The best time to explore Gujarat is October through March, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for both desert visits and wildlife safaris. The Rann Utsav (typically November–February) is a spectacular cultural festival in the Kutch desert. Summer months (April–June) can be extremely hot, and the monsoon season (July–September) brings heavy rains, especially in southern Gujarat.
