Peak season Good season Off season

The ideal time for a Maharashtra journey is October through March, when the weather is pleasant for both fort trekking and coastal exploration. The post-monsoon season (October–November) is especially beautiful, with the Sahyadri hills carpeted in green and waterfalls still running. Summer months (April–June) can be hot, while the monsoon season (July–September) brings heavy but life-giving rains, especially along the Konkan coast.
